Elaine Ann Brock

Elaine Ann Watson Brock, 65, of Raleigh formerly of Ft. Myers, Florida, passed away Thursday evening, September 8, 2022 at her home with her family. She was born in Washington, Pennsylvania to the late W. Ernest Watson and Mary Eloise Crumrine Watson.

Elaine was a warm and caring woman who loved spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was friendly, easy to like and loved those close to her deeply.  Because of these traits she had a large network of friendships that she maintained from early in her life until the end. The outpouring of love from all these people whose life she touched has been a great source of comfort to her family in this very sad time. She graduated from Trinity High School in 1975 and West Liberty University in 1979. She served as an elder at Grace Presbyterian Church. Those close to her will always remember her for her incredible heart, love of Shelties, fondness of the beach and devotion to her family. The world was a better place for many because she was a part of it. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Brock is survived by her husband of 43 years, John E. “Jeb” Brock; son, Matthew Brock & wife Jen of Raleigh; daughter, Carly Pierce & husband Seth of Fort Mill, SC; grandchildren, Reagan and Julia Brock; brothers, Wayne Watson & wife Sue, Jay Watson & Wife Jeannie, Gary Watson & wife Paula all of Washington, PA and Greg Watson & wife Debbie of Arlington, TX; brother-in-law, Tim Brock & wife Beth of Winter Park, FL; many nieces, nephews and extended family.

A memorial service will be held at 11 o’clock, Tuesday morning, September 20, 2022 at Clancy Strickland Wheeler Funeral Home, 1051 Durham Road, Wake Forest, NC. (919)556-7400
