Jessie Bullock Stallings, 87, of Raleigh, went home to be with the LORD Wednesday morning, September 14, 2022. She was born November 18, 1934, in Franklin County, a daughter of the late James Monroe Bullock and Beatrice Williams Bullock.
Jessie was a faithful member and deaconess at Inwood Baptist Church and Pilot Baptist Church in Raleigh for many years. She had a beautiful voice and sang in a trio spreading God’s love along with her mother and sister. She loved the Lord and was steadfast in her faith until the end. Jessie was blessed with such love and care over the last few years with a devoted family and caretakers.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am Saturday, September 24th at Clancy Strickland Funeral Home, 1051 Durham Rd., Wake Forest, with Pastor Carl Leonard officiating.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Ernie Hargett of Wilmington; sisters, JoAnn B. Johnson of Garner and Jennifer B. Boone (Harold) of Raleigh; brother, Jimmy Bullock (Jeanette) of Greensboro; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyce Brooks Stallings; sons, Ronnie Andrews and Tony Andrews; siblings, Janie Johnson and Jerry Bullock.
